The laser cutting advantages are its precision, high speed and the flexibility of quick changes in cutting mode. This results in obtaining complex forms and low roughness in the cutting edge. This process consists in focusing the beam in very small diameters (100-200µm) and delivering a very high energy density that melts the material.
