AGME has presented in the AUTOMATICA Exhibition, the new generation Riveting Machines with Hesa, our distributor in Germany. This Exposition has been held recently in Munich. In this fair, the visitors have observed “in situ” the performance of our machines as well as check the quality of the riveted parts.

AGME incorporates the clinching technology to its special purpose machines      08/03/2010
AGME, leader in the manufacture of Special Assembly machines, incorporates the Clinching Technology to its machines in its desire to offer its customers comprehensive solutions for automating their assembly processes. For this purpose, AGME has signed a collaboration agreement with Limoutil from Eckold, clinching technology specialist with much experience in parts joining by clinching.

Clinching is a joining method for intersperse joining of sheets of mild steel, aluminium or stainless steel without the need for auxiliary joining pieces or additional material. It is suitable for joining different types of materials and sheets of different thicknesses.

The applications of the customized machines AGME designs with clinching technology, are very extensive in diverse industries such as:

- Automotive: car door frames, roof frames, bonnets, tailgates, windows lifters, seats panels, exhaust drier,

AGME manufacture special modules with electropress for constant monitoring      17/02/2010
AGME provide electro presses for processes that require a constant monitoring of the force, position, pressing time and speed. These presses apply forces from 0,5 KN to 120 KN. The commands are electric and they don’t need any other power source pneumatic or hydraulic.

The process data is captured and registered and can be sent to a PC to be treated. The programming is done very easily with the keyboards and LCD screen. Apart from getting a better quality assurance control, there are more advantages of working with electro presses:

AGME has recently signed an agreement with Walther systemtechnik to incorporate their Applications Systems to the range of technologies AGME can include in the special machines they manufacture.

Walther is a specialist in the production and development of Material Application Systems to component parts. The materials can be: oils, grease, silicones, paints, releasing agents, alkalis, preservatives and primers.

Following a previous analysis; AGME and Walther select the best application system for each product and process:
• Dosing technology
• Spraying technology
• Pulsing technology

The new Spraying and Pulsing technologies create a cleaner process and reduce the amount of grease used.

The greasing or fluid application technologies have multiple applications:
- Automotive: tyres, clutch, ball joints, bearings, seats, seatbelts, motor components..
- Locks industry: hinges, locks, guides, etc
- Household appliances: electrical systems, instruments panel, cogs, etc

For this purpose, AGME has signed a collaboration agreement with Ultrasonidos Gala from Hermann, ultrasonic technology specialist with more than 45 years experience in thermoplastics parts joining.

The ultrasonic welding can join injection moulded thermoplastics parts (ABS, polyamides, polypropylenes, etc) using ultrasonic frequencies. In this way, you can get welding applications with the highest strength, precision and repeatability, obtaining hermetic and leak proof seals.

The application laboratories are equipped with specialized test and measure equipment. We thoroughly analyze test welds on the parts for homogeneous melt flow and then verify the results. Proper tensile strength and hermetic sealing are also verified.
